Every new beginning is another beginning’s end

I moved out of my first ever London flat this week. This is a bittersweet move for me, because I’m leaving behind my lovely little riverside apartment and I really had some great times there with a good friend. On the other hand, I’m moving to live with my boyfriend and I’m so excited for our future together.

As I’m going to miss it so much, here’s my homage to my little flat on the Thames – I’ll miss you. I’ll miss living right next door to the Ship pub, and going for runs along the river, and terrible barbecues on my balcony, and poker nights with the boys, and drinking cheap rose with my housemate listening to Bob Dylan and arguing over music, and stumbling home via the McDonald’s with 20 chicken nuggets. My first year in London has been amazing – here’s to the future...

  1. Is that the Ship by Wandsworth Bridge? I used to live right by there - such good times : )

    1. Yes! It was the best thing about living there, such a great pub!
Love your blog by the way :-) x

  2. Really cute pictures, I love your dress in the first one. Moving is always hard in the beginning, I had to move like three times in my life and lost some friends but it's all good now^^

Feel free to check-out my blog and if you like, follow me on GFC, I'll follow you back :)

    1. Thank you, yes it's been pretty tough this time because my friend really didn't want to move - it's nice to know someone's been in the same situation! Onwards and upwards :) and oh my goodness your blog is gorgeous! I've followed you, I'd really appreciate the follow back :)
