Brighton Cosy Weekend Away

I realised I hadn’t blogged about this little weekend trip to Brighton my fiancé (love saying that word) and I took back in November, and it seemed a shame for it to slip through the cracks!

Obviously, we managed to go on the wettest weekend of the year, but it was still so much fun. Brighton is such a beautiful place, I genuinely see why people want to live there – the beach is a great place for a walk, you could spend hours dipping in and out of independent shops and cafés on the Lanes, and there’s a whole myriad of restaurants and cute little pubs to choose from. I thoroughly recommend Brighton House, the B&B we stayed at – the owners were lovely and friendly, breakfast was fresh and tasty and they even had a resident cat to play with!

Looking back on this weekend makes me mourn for pre-Christmas-times – is mulled wine still acceptable in January?! We spent this weekend eating, playing in the arcade and testing out various milkshake places. Way more exciting than my January, which is based on quinoa and water…boo! Roll on our next trip away!

  2. LOVE Brighton so much, and haven't been for a while. I miss it when I don't go. Next time you go, try food at 64 Degrees and/or The Jolly Poacher - both amazing food places

    1. I definitely want to go back soon, so thank you! I will do! xxx
