Until last week, I would never have considered Debenhams as the place to go for high end make up. I’ve always wound up buying it online and paying shipping costs, or searching out tiny boutiques in London!
Earlier this week, I attended a Debenham’s Christmas Party at Mahiki where Debenhams were promoting part of their #Foundit campaign, which aims to demonstrate the number of Christmas present crises that can be solved by a quick trip to Debenhams!
At the event, I was amazed by the sheer range of brands that were suddenly available at my fingertips. I've made a little list of the products I used below! Most are available at Debenham's but I did had to add some of my old staples like my Body Shop Vitamin E moisturiser (honestly the best moisturiser I have EVER used, and an absolute life saver if you have super dry skin or eczema like I do!) and my Gosh Mineral powder!
From old favourites like Benefit and Urban Decay to more cult brands, like Make Up For Ever (which I didn’t even know you could get in the UK, let alone down the road at my local department store!) to the Balm, which I always thought you could only get at online only stores, there are so many options available that I wanted to share.
If you’re looking for a Christmas pressie for someone a bit tricky, who loves beauty but has picked up everything Boots has to offer (a fellow beauty blogger, maybe) I’d definitely recommend a little nose on their website!
I was lucky enough to receive a few goodies at the event and I thought I’d put together a make up look demonstrating just a few of the products available at Debenhams’s this Christmas. I thought this dewy, natural look would be perfect for Christmas day! I also used the nail varnish I recieved, which is from the Nails Inc Alexa Chung range, and although I wasn't sure about the shade to begin with, I think it actually loves really lovely and elegant for this time of year!
What do you think? Have you ever bought high end make up in Debenham’s?
