Christmas at Lush - Blogmas 08

I love Lush all year round, but at Christmas the sight of those little paper bags with their white-on-black scrawl and the inescapable, indescribable Lush scent makes my heart skip a beat a little faster. Their festive treats are just so pretty and wonderful smelling, and really, on a cosy December evening, is there really anything you want more than a warm, beautifully scented, moisturising bath, followed by Christmas pyjamas, a hot chocolate and Elf on TV?

I think the answer you’re looking for is no, and therefore even though it isn’t quite December yet, I found myself wandering into Lush last week and leaving with a lighter purse and a happier heart! I only picked up two things but I absolutely love them and so I wanted to share them here!

Yog Nog

This is a bath bomb, so you drop it into the water once the bath has run. It smells like Christmas wrapped up in a toffee, if you can imagine anything that luxuriously sweet. The lovely helpful girl in Lush (aren’t they always so nice?) told me it contains shea butter, so it’s really moisturising and leaves your skin feeling super soft once you’re finished, which is an added bonus. And it leaves ‘gold clouds’ in your bath. I don’t know what that means but I want to find out!

The Magic Of Christmas

Oh, would you just look at this? I saw Zoella’s Lush haul and she’d picked this up and as I watched it, I had that little ‘I need this’ moment that so often happens when I’m watching hauls! This is a reusable bubble bar, so you hold it under running water until you’ve got your desired level of bubbles. It smells like cinnamon and almonds, so it’s basically like turning your bath into a big bubbly apple pie. It’s a bit pricier than the usual products but it’s reusable and oh my god it’s oh-so-Instagramable. Go into the shop and smell it, you won’t regret it!

I didn’t pick up any of my usual favourites because I want to wait until December but I will do another Lush haul when I next go in! Any suggestions on what else I should get?
