So you may have noticed I've added a new page to my blog. My '35 before 35' is basically a little bucket list that I wrote around the end of last year, having seen it on someone else's blog (sorry, I've forgotten which one!) and it's basically just a little list of the things I'd like to accomplish in the next five and a half years...maybe some are more realistic than others!
I guess the reason I wanted to publish it today is because this weekend I had a house party which I felt meant I could tick off one of the items (it was great, I still haven't recovered, haha). And now I want to keep working towards the others and I'll try and write a post every time I do.
I know life can't be measured in lists, I know it's more than that. And time doesn't run out at 35 (I mean, I hope.) But I think it's nice to have it - almost as a reminder that there is always more to do, always more you can learn, more to come. I read the quote above recently and I thought it summed up so beautifully why life excites me so much. So whatever kind of a day you're having today, just remember - there's always tomorrow. This afternoon you could meet the love of your life, see an ad that gets you the job of your dreams, be spotted in the street, discover you're pregnant, buy a lottery ticket that changes your life. Life is unpredictable and that's the best thing about it.
Do you have a bucket list? What do you think of my '35 before 35' idea?
