Camden Rocks Festival

On Saturday, my friends and I headed to Camden for Camden Rocks festival. I’d been to the Camden Crawl a couple of years back and LOVED it, so I had high hopes…and they were not in vain! Not only was the weather amazing (so sunny after getting caught in a complete downpour the night before) but the music was excellent and we had such a nice day drinking (too much) and wandering from venue to venue. I think it’s such a good idea, and definitely something to try if you’re not keen on the traditional spend-the-day-outdoors-in-a-field type festival. Basically you just buy a wristband, and that gives you entry to multiple venues across Camden, where you can see a variety of rock/indie/metal bands playing throughout the day.

We saw quite a few bands across the day but my highlights were Bareknuckle Brigade (give them a listen on Spotify if you haven’t heard of them and you like a bit of rowdy folk type music!), Reverend & The Makers (who I have seen multiple times but always gets the crowd going!) and of course Feeder, who headlined.

When your husband steals your flower crown...

My dress is from and was a total bargain but unfortunately has sold out so I can't link it to those asking - sorry!!! Sometimes they do put things back up so keep an eye out!

Bareknuckle Brigade

(Side note – the day was of course scarred by, and to me will always be remembered for, the London terror attacks. My husband and I did get caught up trying to get home and it was pretty horrible, but we are completely fine. I refuse not to post this on account of idiots who want to disrupt our society and I think celebrating a day spent drinking in the sunshine is the exact opposite of what they would want SO, there we are.)
